Climate Management
Because cooling brings well being
Bata Industrials uses excellent breathable and the moisture absorbing linings which ensure a soft, dry and fresh feel while at the same time transporting moisture to the outside. The full benefits of this climate management really come into play when the socks worn are also suited to the absorption and the expulsion of heat and humidity, so that these can be transported away by the lining and upper material.
Anti Slip Sole
The grip to stay in balance
Selecting the most suitable sole is type dependant on the working surface, the degree to which this pollutes and the tasks someone has to perform. This is why Bata Industrials has developed several types of outer soles, each with its own profile. This means we can provide the right grip on the work floor under all circumstances.
Easy Rolling System
We know what relaxation can do
To prevent feet becoming tired Bata Industrials devotes a lot of attention to the flexibility of the sole and the weight of the materials from which the shoe is made up. But also to the quality of the footbed and shape of the last. By pre-forming the front of the foot, in certain shoes, the natural motion of the foot is supported in an optimum way. The effect of this is energy saving and comfort increasing. It is details of this kind which make a difference on the work floor.
Tunnel System
With the right cushioning you can absorb a lot
Every collection of Bata Industrials has its own specific extras. But there is one invention that makes safety shoes from Bata Industrials outstanding: the ingenious Tunnelsystem®, which we developed with a professor in biomechanics. This recognizable notch in the heel (the tunnel) can deform when it comes down, to spread the pressure over a larger area. This built-in shock absorber thus spares the joints and keeps the wearer upright. By spreading the load, it also gives the heel extra stability. This prevents tiredness, loss of concentration and hence a great many accidents.
